DB and the Catastrophe is a young, new band out of Fort Collins, Colorado, that combines solid doses of hard-hitting rhythm, melodic lyrics, soaring guitar work, and smart use of horns in a uniquely new punk and ska concoction that is sure to please. Accentuated by driving drumbeats, the band is barreling down the dirt-road trail first blazed by pioneers the Clash and the Ramones, and more recently by groups like Green Day, the Foo Fighters, Social Distortion, and Rancid. The planet may be in a recession right now, but you wouldn't know it from how hard this band works and the energy they bring to the table.
