FM Pilots 

Back in June of 2010, our publication had the pleasure to speak with Nick Whitaker (Vocals, piano, guitars) of the Indie Rock/Pop band FM Pilots. From that interview, we discovered so many wonderful things about this amazing band that we knew we had to complete a review of their music too. Several words that easily comes to mind after listening to the band’s self-titled EP, “melodic music magic that delivers catchy hooks, strong vocal from Nick, original sound, amazing tunes, and crafty lyrics. The songwriting of this band is also one of the strongest points to this EP. Many of the lyrics are full of relatable themes that anyone listening to the EP will find enjoyable.



One of the songs from the EP titled, “Chasing”, illustrates the type of musical journey one will embark on when listening to this EP. This song is full of heartfelt lyrics, strong male vocal from Nick Whitaker who sings with such passion and heart that he will make you melt, and several catchy hooks to sink one’s teeth into. If you are ready for an investment that is worth its weight, then purchasing FM Pilots’ self titled CD is the way to go. You will not be disappointed.
