Hello Folks, this is Isaac from Junior's Cave Online Magazine with an Editor in Chief's Rant for the2nd Quarter of 2008 (sorry, I know I am a little late).   The Junior’s Cave Online Magazine’s Universe has been pretty busy with all types of new developments for all of our projects including our main project, Junior’s Cave.  We have been fortunate enough to have grabbed some exclusive interviews these last few months including two of our bigger ones, R&B Singer Miki Howard and BRAVO’s Workout’s Brian Peeler.  Please check us out at the magazine’s website (www.juniorscave.com) to check those and other hot interviews including a new one in the works with Pro Wrestler, Vordell Walker.

Also, we have added a ton of new forums with new columnists joining the team including Big on Books with Author/Writer Morgan Mandel, who is bringing her enormous talents to Junior’s Cave as our Books & Literature Columnist/Editor, with her own page that promises to delivered tips, reviews, and everything else on Books.

My niece, Noree’ Leggett, has created her own forum entitled World’s Coolest Collectibles.  She will be brining you her passion and experience for collecting toys monthly.  Noree’ will also feature news, tips, and updates on some of the coolest collections of toys including games, super heroes, and anime characters.  She is our Collectibles Columnist.

Another page that I am excited to feature on Junior’s Cave is entitled Fashionably Now with Linda Davies.  With an extensive background in Fashion, Linda promises to give the readers of Junior’s Cave the latest trends and hottest items in Fashion.  Linda is our Fashion Columnist.

Manieka Alvin is coming to us as our new College and Career Columnist in her own forum entitled It’s My Life.  Manieka is brining her knowledge and passion for education and careers to the readers of Junior’s Cave.  Monthly, she will be bringing updates about college life and some of the hottest careers out there currently.

Matthew Monroe, our Intern, continues to serve as front man of his monthly Gospel page, The Gospel Kid. He brings a positive message to us all and helps spread the word of our Savior in Christ. We are pleased to have him on board and look forward to working with him for a very long time.

Stay tune for the next upcoming months as even more new forums will be added to the pages of Junior’s Cave including a new forum that one of our Senior Columnists is working on.  Todd has pitched me an idea that is super cool. Currently, Todd has two forums, Todd’s Corner (movie reviews) and Views from the Left (political forum).   This new forum promises to be more interactive with the readers of Junior’s Cave. You will just have to keep coming Junior’s Cave to see when it develops.

Now on to other projects under Junior’s Cave umbrella

First of all, Friendsmix Social Network has reached its 500th members.  Thank you for everyone spreading the word about our community. We are very thankful.  When I posted back in the 1^st quarter that we were close to 500 members, we were sitting at 478 members.  Well, 75 members later, we now sit at 553 members and steadily growing.  Our overall goal of 1000 members by the end of 2008 I feel is still obtainable, so spread the word.  If everything goes well, we should meet this goal with no problem.

Now on to our other community, (radio community for our Radio Station), JC Internet Radio, is 20 members away from reaching 100th members status.  Since this is a smaller community, we are aiming that this community reach its 100th member by the end of August/September (revised from a date of reaching this goal be the end of June) with a goal of 125 members (revised from 250 members) by the end of the year.

Let’s look at yet another community that we created, The Southern Mix.  The community was sitting at 62 members during the 1^st quarter.  Today, this group sits at a stellar 125 members.  This community is an exclusive Hip-Hop/R&B/Rap community.  We reached our goal of 100 members by the end of April with no problems.  We are going to revise the goal of 500 members to 250 members by the end of the year though.

Each one of the projected numbers I feel are obtainable for us to reach with no problems. I will be excited to see where we are at by the end of the 3^rd quarter. The bottom line is this: Those are all big goals but we believe in the success of all of these communities and feel that each of those communities will live up to the hype. 

Now for Juniorscave news! We are very pleased by the number of hot interviews we have conducted in the last few months of some of the hottest Indie bands and artists in the music industry.  I think this is our signature mark and one that seems to work for Junior's Cave. We have a host of new Indie band interviews coming up that promises to entertain and thrill music lovers everywhere. 

Next quarter, I will introduce even more new Columnists to our pages as well as new forums, new communities, and new designs of all of our pages. The best is yet to come folks.
